Emboss, staple and fold. It's easy to produce braille books from
cut sheet paper. 4X4 PRO divides every sheet of paper in four,
automatically sorting the pages in the correct order. The user's
work load is minimal.
Magazine format
4X4 PRO has a unique capacity to emboss braille in magazine
format. This makes it one of the most widely-used embossers for
the production of Braille books in the world. Embossed documents
are ready for immediate use after folding and stapling. Print
from your computer and 4X4 PRO automatically takes care of the
newspaper page formatting.

The history of the single sheet feeder
For a long time there were no sheet feeders for braille
embossing on cut sheet paper. When our customers showed us the
demand we started considering the possibilities. One solution
was using an ink printer sheet feeder. We contacted a leading
sheet feeder-producer, and were asked “How many k:s do you
want?” We weren't asking for thousands at the time, but less
than a hundred. With a little enthusiasm and some good will we
were allowed to buy the small volume.
Today we own the producing right for
those sheet feeders. We have refined them for braille
perfection. Index Braille is the only company in the world to
offer sheet feeders for braille embossing on cut sheet paper.
